Ceramides

Ceramides are produced by means of patented bio-fermentation processes. They are key lipids (fats) that naturally occur in the upper layer of the skin and form a crucial part of human skin barrier.

They promote renewal, strengthen barrier function of the skin and prevent loss of moisture. This way ceramides help protect the skin against harmful external impacts, such as pollution and extreme climate conditions (low/high temperatures, intense solar radiation, dry and windy weather). Moreover, ceramides help enhance skin texture and smooth fine wrinkles, which contributes to a youthful appearance.

Thanks to these properties they are a valued ingredient of many products intended for dry, sensitive or mature skin care. Their molecules are identical with human skin, so for that reason they are suitable for long-term use, protection and recovery of sensitive and dry skin. Ceramides are able to restore even damaged hair and protect it from chemical and UV damage.
