We Help Others
Every year we are actively involved in projects that improve the world – whether through long-term commitments or as an instant reaction to emergency situations.
The year 2025 served a further example of the power of human connection for a good cause.
Supporting the society and countryside where we live is a natural part of Manufaktura’s values. We have cooperated for a long time with organizations, experts and local communities that support children’s homes, care for nature, strengthen neighbourhood relationships and help where it is most needed. We focus on both instant relief as well as projects with long-lasting positive impact.

Tomáš Slavata
The long-term philanthropic activities of Tomáš Slavata are built on personal engagement, direct help and close contact with those in real need of support. Time, personal commitment and the ability to respond quickly and meaningfully to specific situations play an essential role.
In 2025, we managed to hold more than 60 events focused mainly on helping children and children’s homes throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Today, this long-term cooperation includes almost 180 children’s homes, which we stay in touch with to respond to their topical needs, whether material, therapeutic, experiential or human.
Milý Ježíšku and Blíž Domovu Projects
In 2025, the Milý Ježíšku project (Dear Santa Claus) helped fulfil 2,994 Christmas wishes for kids from children’s homes and socially disadvantaged families. Dozens of facilities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia are involved in the project, and we managed to bring joy as well as specific help where it was needed most.
The follow-up platform of the Blíž Domovu project (Closer to Home) allows for direct and targeted support for specific children’s homes. Thanks to close cooperation with their management, we can help exactly where it is currently most needed.
Specific help in 2025 focused on areas such as the reconstruction and equipment of children’s homes, therapeutic support for children, healing and experiential stays or development projects focused on mental well-being and education.
The help is based on the belief that even with limited means, a significant impact can be achieved if the support is well-thought-out, targeted and accompanied by a personal interest in specific human destinies.
"What I appreciate most about Manufaktura is the ability to quickly respond and adapt to the needs of those in trouble – quickly, efficiently and in a flexible way. There are no boardroom meetings, but rather direct action in the field, among children and adults who need help. Whether it was pandemic, a tornado or floods, Manufaktura was always able to act quickly and provide a real boost where it was most needed. I am convinced that many times it is not about what we buy and deliver, but about giving people hope in despair and the feeling that they are not alone. It is pure human support during the times when affected people are bouncing back from what happened and we are standing ready to help.
Manufaktura’s help is not only about financial gifts, but also about true humanity - about sharing fears, searching for paths and giving hope to those who lost it. It is more than a cosmetic brand - it is a team of people and friends who provide a foundation and support in difficult times. Thank you for being here for so many years and helping where help is most needed."

We Help Through the Via Foundation
Our collaboration with the Via Foundation allows for the support of projects that arise directly from the initiative of local people and respond to the specific needs of communities and the countryside.
In 2025, we participated in the support of these projects:
Dobro-druzi sází stromy (Adventurers Plant Trees)
Children from an Opava primary school for children with health challenges planted three new mature trees in an open space in front of the school, and they continue to care for their growth. The project supported team collaboration, autonomy and an environmental relationship.
Zachraňme dřevo – tvořme spolu (Let’s Save Wood and Create Together)
RecyUpcy – Circular Centre in Hradec Králové is building a community carpentry shop connected to a material bank. The project draws attention to material waste and offers specific solutions through workshops and practical demonstrations of wood reuse.
Od květu k medu, od hlíny k příběhům (From Flowers to Honey, From Clay to Stories)
The citizens of Nový Knín are revitalizing their community life through an educational and community centre. The project interconnects generations, following up the tradition of beekeeping and handicrafts, while enhancing the relationship with nature and the places where people live.
100 let – 100 stromů (100 Years - 100 Trees)
The Miletín Sports Club, together with local people, renewed a former country road and planted an ally of hundreds of birches. A place for walks, meetings and relaxation in the countryside was created.
"We at the Via Foundation appreciate the huge support from Manufaktura. Czechia cannot be transformed in a single week or year. Thanks to the long-term support and generosity of Manufaktura, we can ensure, step by step, that the next generations live in a self-confident country full of active people who change the places where they live for the better."

We Help Czech Nature
Thanks to the return of large ungulates, the Czech countryside is gradually restoring its natural balance. Wild horses, bison and aurochs help renew meadow ecosystems, maintain open landscapes, and support natural biodiversity.
Thanks to Manufaktura’s support, spaces for meadow butterflies, bees, flowers, birds and other rare species, which need healthy meadows to survive, are being created in protected areas. Together with scientists and experts, we have been monitoring the results of care of these areas for a long time. Data confirm that the population of the most precious species here have grown by hundreds to thousands of percent.
The support of biodiversity and care for the countryside is our way of preserving the natural wealth of the Czech Republic for future generations.
We Help People: The Manufaktura Employees Projects
We perceive helping people as a natural part of our company culture. Manufaktura employees themselves play a significant role: every year they propose projects and organizations they consider meaningful and necessary.
From these proposals, we subsequently choose the projects we will support. Manufaktura then helps with their implementation in the form of financial contributions. Thanks to this, we help where it has a real and direct impact.
In 2025, following organizations were supported:
Domov sv. Karla Boromejského (St. Charles Borromeo Home)
Promotion of a project focused on equipping a new activity department for seniors. The project aims to develop cognitive functions, enhance memory and fine motor skills, and improve physical condition through modern rehabilitation tools.
Sociální klinika – Terapie na prahu dospělosti (Social Clinic: Theory on the Threshold of Adulthood)
The project offers accessible short-term therapy to young adults between 18–26 years old from socially disadvantaged environments. It focuses on a period of vital life changes when the risk of psychological difficulties increases.
Mezigenerační setkávání v Říčanech (Intergenerational Meetings in Říčany)
A long-term project supporting children and seniors from the Domov Pod Kavčí Skálou kindergarten and nursing home. Regular meetings enhance relationships, mutual understanding and the joy of time spent together.
Ethical Values and Long-Term Commitments
Helping others and respecting life is part and parcel of how Manufaktura functions. We are a proud holder of the Cruelty Free International – Leaping Bunny certificate, and we refuse animal testing for a long time.
We believe that small steps lead to big changes, if they are built on cooperation, trust and responsibility.
