When is the best time to use the balm?
The balm is specifically intended for the phase when the skin is partially soothed after applying the SOS Stick and requires intense nourishment, regeneration and barrier restoration support. Apply locally to dry and problematic areas as needed, several times a day.
What is the difference between the ATOPIQ balm and the body lotion?
The balm provides richer and more intense care for very dry and problematic areas. It is primarily used locally and is fragrance-free. The lipid-replenishing lotion has a lighter texture and is intended for regular, daily moisturizing of the entire body to keep the skin comfortable and balanced. It features a light, allergen-free scent.
How does the balm care for the skin barrier?
It combines Dead Sea minerals and ceramides with natural oils, shea butter, squalane, hyaluronic acid, oat ferment and other nourishing ingredients. It helps nourish and hydrate the skin, while supporting the restoration of its natural protective barrier.
Is the balm scented?
No. The balm is fragrance-free and was formulated specifically with the needs of sensitive and eczema-prone skin in mind.
Can I use it every day?
Yes. Apply to dry problematic areas as needed, even multiple times a day. For regular care over larger body area, we also recommend the lighter ATOPIQ lipid-replenishing lotion.
Is the balm meant for the entire body, or only local application?
Due to its richer texture, the balm is ideal for targeted, intense care on dry and problematic areas. For regular moisturizing over larger body areas, the lighter ATOPIQ lipid-replenishing lotion is more suitable.
Can I use the balm outside of flare-ups periods of acute irritation?
Yes. It is suitable whenever the skin needs an intense dose of nourishment, hydration and regeneration.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. The ATOPIQ collection is safe and suitable for children from birth (0+).

In our formulas, we use Dead Sea salt and mud extract, naturally rich in minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium and sodium. Dead Sea minerals are especially popular for the care of dry, stressed, problem-prone and sensitive skin, helping to support hydration, skin comfort and its natural protective function.
Ceramides
Ceramides promote restoration and strengthening of the skin barrier function, prevent loss of moisture, protect the skin from harmful environmental impacts and improve its texture, smooth fine wrinkles, which contributes to a more youthful appearance.
Hyaluronic acid
Unique hyaluronic acid of 2nd generation, made in the Czech Republic, has an intense hydrating effect due to its exceptional property to bond and retain water. It creates a protective barrier, smooths tiny wrinkles and improves skin elasticity.
Fermented Oat with Prebiotics
Natural ingredient rich in bioactive substances that helps soothe irritation, strengthen protective skin barrier and promote its hydration.
