Daisy

In the past daisy was considered a cure-all. It contains valuable minerals, fruit acids, proteins and amino acids, antioxidant flavonoids, hydrating polysaccharides and other substances having eneficial effects on our body. 

We manually harvest part of daisies used in our cosmetics in the clean environment of gardens and meadows. All employees across the entire company are involved in harvesting and flowers from many beautiful parts of Bohemia and Slovakia are put in the products.

After careful harvesting the herbs must be thoroughly dried and then the most important part of our products, i.e. daisy extract full of beauty, is created.

For production of shower gel or shampoo we use water-soluble extract, which results from extraction in alcohol or propylene glycol.

For production of body or facial oil or lip balm we use extract that oil-soluble and we obtain it by maceration, i.e. dried herbs are put into high-quality oil and macerated there for 3 to 4 weeks.

During this time the herbs are blended with oil and their active substances penetrate directly the oil. Then the blend is filtered and antioxidant (e. g. vitamin E) is added to increase stability.

Finally, it is kept in a cold and dark place, ideally in the absence of air. Thanks to that the oil acquires specific therapeutic properties and effects.
